Comfort layers because there are four of Them the first one is infused with a Cooling gel which helps dissipate body Heat has a slow moving feel that you can Gently sink into beneath that is a more Responsive layer which prevents you from Bottoming out on the mattress and gives You that support that you need Underneath that is another cooling layer Which helps dissipate body heat and then Finally you have a layer with zoned Support Zone support just means that it Feels firmer in some areas and softer in Others it's meant to help keep your back At a neutral alignment whether you're Sleeping on your back or your side at The very bottom you'll find a layer of Puppies Contour adapt coils this gives The mattress a slightly more bouncy and Responsive feel you're not going to feel Like you're sinking in side of this Mattress it also helps with Edge support So you can sleep right near the sides of The bed [Music] The puffy Royal mattress is a bed in a Box mattress which means it'll arrive on Your doorstep compressed inside a Cardboard box so how do you unbox it Well you'll definitely need a friend to Help you these are heavy boxes that you Don't want to try to lift by yourself All in all it took me and a friend about Five to ten minutes to completely get it
Unboxed you do have to wait a good 48 Hours before sleeping on it just to give It time to off gas and expand All right Moving on to two of the most important Things to consider firmness and feel Here at mattress Clarity we have a Firmness scale that goes from 1 to 10 With six and a half indicating the Industry standard for medium firm beds And that's exactly what the puffy Royal Hybrid feels like you're going to get a Great balance of comfort and support on This bed and let's talk about what it Feels like so it's a hybrid mattress With soft slow moving layers at the top And supportive bouncy coils at the Bottom together this creates a nice Balanced feel you'll get lots of Pressure relief but it's still pretty Easy to move around on top of it The mattresses are going to feel Different depending on your sleeping Position so let's talk more about that The puffy Royal hybrid in my experience Was great while resting on my back I got That support that I needed for my lower Back but I got some nice cushioning Where I also needed it around my hips Moving on to my side also a really great Choice it cushioned my shoulders which Is what you really need in the sleeping Position but those coils still gave me The support I needed moving on to my
Stomach not the best choice here stomach Sleepers need really firm mattresses in Order to keep their hips in line with Their back otherwise I could sink out of Alignment and create lower back pain Because the puffy Royal hybrid is a six And a half out of ten on our firmness Scale it's just not going to work well For stomach sleepers Foreign If you share a bed with a partner you Want to pay close attention to your Mattress's motion isolation and Edge Support So motion isolation just means If you're resting on one side of the bed And your partner comes in on the other And they start switching sleeping Positions are you going to feel it on Your side of the bed well fortunately The puffy Royal hybrid has thick layers Of memory foam on top which really helps Absorb motion when we tested it out I Really didn't feel any of that movement Come over to my side of the bed when it Comes to Edge support the puffy Royal Hybrid isn't the best but it's also not The worst right middle of the road here When you sit along the side you'll Definitely sink in quite a bit but when You are resting lying down on the side You should still feel pretty secure I Don't expect any sleepers to roll off of This mattress Probably wondering how much this
