Now both of these bed in a box brands offer multiple different mattresses, but in this video Wes focuses on the flagship beds from both companies – the GhostBed Classic mattress and the Helix Midnight. GhostBed also offers the GhostBed Luxe, GhostBed Flex, GhostBed 3D Matrix, and the GhostBed Natural. Helix Sleep offers many different beds thanks to the Helix Sleep Quiz. Some of these models include the Helix Sunset, Helix Dawn, Helix Moonlight, Helix Plus, Birch Luxe and many more. Wes touches on the mattress policies offered with mattress brands which includes free shipping, a sleep trial, free returns and a warranty. He also covers the construction of the mattresses, how they feel and their firmness, and what sleeper type would be best for either bed (back sleepers, side sleepers, stomach sleepers and combination sleepers). Wes also discusses which body types (petite, medium and heavy) would enjoy these mattresses. If you’re a heavy person, Wes recommends opting for the Helix Plus or the GhostBed Flex mattress since they utilize coils for extra support. Well hey there Slumber yard viewer in This video we're talking about how the Ghostbed mattress compares to the Helix Mattress and we're going to touch on Everything that you need to know about These two beds starting with their Policies we'll talk about their Firmnesses their feels all while Comparing and contrasting I'll touch on Pricing at the very end and I'll even Have a final verdict and hi there I'm Wes if you didn't know over here at the Slumber yard we review all things online Mattresses and pretty much all things Sleep in general so we have a pretty Good idea of how beds stack up against Each other now if you need any more Information about ghostbed or Helix as a Brand you can always check down below in The description we have so much more Content for you down there but let's get Right into this like the video if you Want but here's Helix versus ghostbed [Music] Foreign [Music] All right so before I get into Everything you need to know about Helix And ghostbed and how they compare I do Want to say that both these mattress Brands did send us these beds for free To reveal and tell you guys about them But if you order either one online They'll be backed by the following

Policies that both start with completely Free shipping now they're both bed in a Box mattresses that means they're Basically going to show up to your house In a big old box you have to basically Drag that thing inside rip off all the Packaging you'll have a bed that will Expand in front of your eyes now Helix Beds are all made with pocketed coils so This one will get right to its pretty Much true firmness almost out of the box But with ghostbed you might want to give It a day or two to fully inflate since It is an all-foam mattress now once These beds are in your possession you Get a sleep trial with both Helix offers You 100 nights and ghostbed goes Slightly above with 101 nights but That's basically your chance to test the Beds out with your own sheets and your Own pajamas in your own room and start To formulate your opinion on whether or Not you want to keep them for the Foreseeable future or Now if you happen to not want to keep Them they both offer free returns within That trial period but hopefully you do Enjoy these mattresses if so Helix is Offering a 10-year warranty and ghostbed Goes double that with 20 years also one Last policy detail is that Helix beds Are made in the United States and ghost Bed beds are made in the U.S and Canada So if you like supporting American-made

Products or Canadian made products a Check out either one of those but if you Need any more information about those Policies check down below in the Description for so much more but now Let's get into construction and this is Actually one of the main differences Between these beds because the Helix More specifically the Helix midnight Mattress has pocketed coils for its main Layer of support whereas the ghostbed Uses all foam so its main layer of Support layer will be a dense support Foam but then above that you'll have a Memory foam which is pretty much their Transition layer and on the very top There is a synthetic latex foam which Acts as the bed's main Comfort layer now Jumping back to the Helix midnight and Its construction it uses pocketed coils As it's made main layer of support now In general pocketed coils are just Individually siled Springs that are Supposed to provide a lot of support and Also a little bit of Bounce in your Mattress as well and over here at the Slumber yard we pretty much say that Most people who are a little bit heavier Should look into beds that are made with Pocketed coils just because they'll Provide a little bit more balance and Long-term support for those bigger body Types pocketed coils might also provide A little bit more airflow for you as

Well just because there's more room for Air to circulate through those coils now Getting back to the construction of the Helix midnight above those pocketed Coils you have a transition layer of Polyfoam and then on top is a comfort Foam layer it's going to be really soft With more of a neutral soft foam feel But it will have some of that bounce Because of those pocketed coils now when You jump back over to the ghostbed Mattress this bed has more of a mixed Foam feel and that's basically because Of that synthetic latex foam combined With that memory foam layer below that And that dense layer of support foam so It might have a different feel depending On how much you weigh really heavy People might feel a little bit more of That memory foam as they sink into the Bed more but if you're more petite you Might feel more of that synthetic latex Foam and it might be a little bit more Springy and responsive pretty much the Main thing to know about these two beds Feels is that one will have that bounce Especially due to those pocketed coils And the other will pretty much just be a Nice comfy foam bed now in terms of Firmness this is one place where both of These beds are really similar because Both of the mattresses are right around A medium on our firmness scale meaning They should work for all sleeper types

Back stomach side and combination now if This medium firmness isn't exactly what You're looking for that's fine because Both of the mattress brands do offer a Number of different choices with Helix They actually have a sleep quiz where You tell the computer a couple things About yourself and they'll spit out the Bed that they think will work best for Your sleeping situation and they Obviously have some beds with more of a Little bit more of a memory foam feel Some firmer beds and some softer beds You're gonna have to take that sleep Quiz to find out now in terms of Ghostbed they make a number of different Beds as well they have some hybrid beds They have have a cool bed called the Ghostbed 3D Matrix uses this kind of gel Like material in its Comfort Foams and They even have ghostbed natural which is A latex foam option with pocketed coils Right around a medium really nice bed And then they even have a cooling bed Which is an all-foam option now that bed Our buddy Dilo used to sleep on it and It's right around a medium firm on our Firmness scale so maybe a little bit Better for strict back or stomach Sleepers and it has more of a memory Foam feel Helix says a brand also offers A couple of different specialty beds They have the Helix plus which is made For especially heavy individuals you

Know if you're above that 200 to 300 Pound Mark you might want to check that Bed out and they also have the Birch Mattress and the Birch Lux which have More of a latex foam feel and they even Have a kids bed so if you're a kid Watching right now go check that one out We did a really fun video on the kid's Bed now in terms of X factors both these Beds have a couple things going for them With the Helix midnight they offer a Optional cooling cover you will have to Spend up slightly for it but it might Help you sleep at a cooler temperature You know in our opinion it's really hard To tell whether a cooling fee feature is Doing a lot so take it or leave it but We think that either way you go you Should be sleeping temperature neutral With this mattress now in terms of Ghostbed they'll sometimes offer in Bundles like free gifts with every Purchase I think as of when I'm Recording this video you can get two Free pillows with every purchase so that Might be something if you want to set up Your whole bedroom all right now it's Time to talk about price how much money You're going to be paying depending on Whether you go the route of helix or Ghostbed I do want to preface all these Numbers by saying that mattress Brands Like both of these do like to change Their pricing and promotion from time to

Time so this is as of when I'm recording This video but you should be able to Pick up a helix midnight for around the 1100 Mark for that queen size and that Is after discount so if you do want to Apply that discount it'll be linked Down Below in the description box and for the Ghostbed mattress after discount on that Bed you should be paying closer to the One thousand dollar Mark so slightly More affordable for the ghostbed but Pretty much right in line with each Other and again if you do want to use That discount code it really helps us Out over here at the slumber yard and we Greatly appreciate that but that is Basically the story when comparing Ghostbed to Helix and at this point in The video it's pretty much time to give You our final verdict and we would say Check out Helix if you want a bed with Pocketed coils that is available in Multiple different firmness options but If you go with the midnight it'll have More of a neutral foam feel right around A medium and check out ghostbed if You're looking for a simple three layer All foam bed with more of a mixed foam Feel that also is right around that Medium firmness but that's just what we Think over here at the slumber yard what Do you guys think have you tried either One of these beds out or would you like To write us down below in those comments

We would love to hear from you and hit That Thumbs Up Button if you had fun in This fun comparison and feel free to Subscribe for so much more if you need Any more information about these beds or Any of the other beds offered by Ghostbed or Helix check down below in That description box but that's going to Do it for this one I'm Wes wishing you a Good night's sleep Foreign [Music]
