Hey guys Martin here from mattress Clarity if you can't decide between the Dream cloud and saatva mattresses do not Fret I am here to help I'm going to Compare both those mattresses today I'm Going to talk about their similarities Their differences and help you choose One over the other let's hop in [Music] We'll note receive these mattresses for Free from Brands we may earn a Commission if you decide to purchase Them but this helps keep this content Free for you and helps fund our testing Operations So we'll start off by taking a look at The similarities between both these Mattresses and first off I do want to Note the sofa comes in three different Firmnesses today we're taking a look at The luxury firm model but they both have Some very similar construction Supportive coils and on top of that some Plusher layers they are both breathable Mattresses supportive mattresses and Both durable mattresses as well [Music] And now let's take a look at the Differences between both these Mattresses and again the sofa comes in Three different firmness options the Dream Cloud only comes in one firmness Option the Sapa also comes in two Different heights the dream Cloud only
Comes in one now in terms of firmness The dream cloud is going to be firmer Than the luxury firm version of the Saaba mattress and last but not least The Safa is going to cost more than the Dream cloud [Music] Now let's take a look at the Construction of both these mattresses Starting off on top and then working our Way down so first off on top of the Dream Cloud Masters a very nice cashmere Cover soft breathable and very luxurious Now over on the sofa mattress a very Nice organic cotton cover now moving Down to the Comfort layer starting off With the dream Cloud mattress quilted Into the cover some very soft foam Beneath that some gel memory foam Beneath that a dynamic transition layer To act as transition layer keep it from Sinking too far into the mattress moving Over to the saatva mattress quilted into The cover you're going to have some soft Foam also some memory foam near the top For some more pressure relief and also Zone towards the center in these top Layers moving down to support layers With the dream Cloud mattress you are Going to have some very tall supported Individually wrapped coils but over with The Sapa mattress you're going to have Two sets of coils first off on top some Micro coils for some more contouring but
Also support and beneath that some base Support coils now these coils are also Going to be zones they're firmer towards The center of the mattress to give you More lumbar support keep your spine in Good neutral alignment you're not going To find zoning over on the drink lab Foreign [Music] Firmness and feel and in terms of Firmness I thought the dream Cloud was Close to a seven and a half out of ten Definitely firmer than average it does Have some soft layers right on top but Overall you don't sink in too far has a Firmer feel overall moving over to the Saatva mattress definitely closer to a 7 Out of ten just a little bit firmer than Average the top layers are plusher than What you find over on the dream Cloud so You sink in this a little bit further Feel some better pressure relief now Speaking of feel they're both very Responsive mattresses with the coils Makes it very easy to move around There's some good bounce also on top you Have a little bit of that kind of plush Foam or plush pillow top feel so very Similar feels with both these mattresses [Music] And now let's talk about how I feel in Different sleeping positions on both These mattresses starting off on the Dream cloud on my back a pretty good
Match for me a nice balance of comfort And support I think if you're lighter Weight though it might feel a little bit Too firm to you I'm 270 pounds so it's a Very good match for me moving to my side I'm definitely feeling some pressure on My shoulders and my hips kind of Pressing far into the mattress feeling Some bunching up around those areas Moving to my stomach it's a firmer Mattress so not horrible for stomach Sleeping but if you just sleep on your Stomach you might want to look for Something even firmer and more Supportive now moving over to the saatva Luxury firm mattress on my back even Better match for me extra lumbar support From the zoning my hips sink in even Further good overall support So a great Match for back sleeping moving to my Side also better pressure relief on my Side than I felt over on the sofa Mattress but I think if you sleep just On your side take a look at the softer Sofa model finally moving to my stomach Not horrible for stomach sleeping either With the zoning but again if you sleep Just in your stomach take a look at the Firmer model Foreign [Music] If you sleep with a partner there's two More things you do want to think about Namely motion transfer and Edge support
Now motion transfer means if you're Lying down on one side of the mattress And your partner moves around on the Other side are going to feel that motion On your side of the mattress or not and Edge support means if you're sitting or Lying down to the edge of a mattress do You feel secure or like you're going to Roll off and onto the floor so speaking Of motion transfer neither handle it Particularly well they are bouncier Mattresses not absorbing too much of That motion if you're really worried About motion transfer take a look at a Memory foam mattress Speaking of edge support the sofa Mattress definitely wins out I feel very Secure towards the edge sitting down and Lying down as well [Music] And now let's talk pricing and for a Full price queen size dream Club Mattress around twelve hundred dollars Now with the saatva for a full price Queen size mattress around two thousand Dollars but we do have some great deals Here at mattressclarity.com you'll find Them in the YouTube description below And over on our website [Music] Now the moment you've all been waiting For which mattress should you get first Off in terms of who should get the dream Club mattress a better option if you're
