Beds and talk about everything that you Need to know about them I do want to say That both Lisa and bear sent us these Mattresses for free to review and tell You guys about them but if you order Either online they'll be backed by the Following policies starting with free Shipping so these are both bed in a box Mattresses and they'll ship to your House in a box that's pretty darn big All you got to do is just drag that Thing in your home and start ripping off All the packaging and then the beds will Expand in front of your eyes now the Bear Pro hybrid does use pocketed coils So it'll pretty much pop right back into Shape since it is a hybrid bed it does Use Comfort foam on top so you might Want to give it a couple hours to fully Inflate and get to its true firmness and The leesa mattress isn't all foam so you Might even want to give it almost like a Day or two to fully inflate but once you Have the beds in your possession you can Pretty much just sleep on them night one Just know that they might change a Little bit in that first couple days or Hours but any case once these beds are In your possession you get a sleep trial With both with bear you get 120 nights To test the bed out in the comfort of Your own home and with Lisa you get 100 Nights so either way you go you're Getting at least three months to test
The bid out with your own sheets pillows And whatnot now within that trial period Either one of these mattresses aren't Exactly right for you after those first You know 30 nights of testing it you can Get free returns but hopefully you do Enjoy these beds and want to keep them For the foreseeable future if so Lisa is Backed by a 10-year warranty and bear Backs their beds by a lifetime warranty So if you need any more information About those warranties or those policies Or those sleep trials you can definitely Check down below in the description you Know Brands like to be a little bit Different with all that but that'll be All down there for you now let's start Talking about these beds and what makes Them similar different and overall Unique and let's start with construction So what are these made up of and for the Bear Pro hybrid this bed has pocketed Coils for its main layer of support and If you didn't know pocketed coils are Pretty much individually siled Springs And over here at the slumber yard we Tend to recommend heavier people go for A bed that does use pocketed coils or Some sort of hybrid design just because Those coils can provide a lot more Long-term support and durability for Those bigger body types and sometimes They'll also have increased airflow and Motion isolation which is pretty nice as
Well above those coils is a transition Layer then you have the bed's Comfort Foam layer which is a memory foam and The whole bed is wrapped up in a Salient Cover now I'll talk a little bit more About Salient later in the video but the Whole thing measures up to be 10 inches So you're not going to need any deep Pocket sheets for this bed it's a pretty Simple construction design now jumping Over to Lisa this bed also has a pretty Simple design now instead of using Pocketed coils it has dense support foam On the bottom then there's a transition Layer and then on top is a soft Responsive Comfort foam and basically This construction adds up to give the Bed a soft neutral foam feel it's really Accommodating something that we think Most sleepers will really enjoy and if You lay on it you'll probably think yeah I could sleep a night or two on this for Sure we always say that if you don't Know exactly what you want you would be Safe going the route of Lisa or you Could put it in your main bedroom or Even your guest bedroom and your guests Would probably really enjoy it as well We tend to say that 9 9 out of 10 Sleepers will probably find this thing To be pretty darn comfortable and adding To Lisa's accommodating aesthetic is its Firmness it's right around a medium on Our firmness scale so it should work for
All sleeper types back stomach side and Combination now talking about the bare Mattress let's touch on its feel and Firmness it has more of a neutral foam Feel but it's going to be a little bit More responsive due to those coils so You might get a slight sink and Sensation from that memory foam layer But due to those coils and that Transition layer it's going to be really Responsive and pop right back into shape Rather quickly so if you are a Combination sleeper you can definitely Change sleeping positions throughout the Night and we would say that the bear Pro Hybrid is around a medium firm on our Firmer scale so a little bit firmer than The leesa bed and it might be a better Option for strict back and stomach Sleepers but it can still work for all Sleeper types now if the feel and Firmness of either Lisa or the bear Pro Hybrid isn't exactly what you're looking For that's fine because both the beds Make a number of different options Lisa Has the Lisa Studio mattress which is Another all foam bed but it has more of A responsive memory foamy feel they also Have the Lisa Superior hybrid which is Similar to the bear Pro hybrid in terms Of firmness there's also the Lisa Legend Which is on the softer side maybe a Better option for strict side and Combination sleepers and bear also has a
Number of different options they have The bear star hybrid the bare Elite Hybrid and the original bear mattress so We'll link those all down below in the Description if you want to learn more About any of those because we've done a Ton of content on all of those Lisa and Bear beds so again check down below in The description if you want to learn any More about them but now let's get into X Factors what makes these beds you know Unique or special now Lisa as a brand Makes some charitable efforts they're Also a certified B Corp and in terms of Bear the main thing has to do with their Cover and it's made of salient so Salient is a textile that's recognized By the FDA as a General Wellness device And members on my team at the slumber Yard have slept on beds with Salient and They claim that it does something you Know it might have some regenerative Restoring qualities I haven't tried the Stuff so I can't really comment on it But if that does move the needle for you You might like that on your cover for Years at the slumber yard we used to Call it sealant but it's actually called Salient I think it's got a better ring To it you know what else has a better Ring this nice Bell Song Gone wow wow that's a nice Bell Now at this point in the video let's
